Gender Project

We offer information, our newsletter (GenderNews), publications, submissions and other resources.

We aim to

• translate constitutional rights into progressive legislation and policies;
• develop training and monitoring programmes to support the implementation of these laws and policies;
• ensure that women and men know what their rights are in terms of the Constitution and legislation and how to exercise these rights.

The Project works in a number of specific focus areas and also maintains a Documentation Centre with material on gender equality and women's rights.
