Annette May is a researcher in the Local Government Project. Beyond conducting research on policy and legislative issues that impact local government, she also serves as the managing editor of the Local Government Bulletin. In addition, she presents certain lectures of the Master’s Programme in Local Government and Decentralisation. Prior to joining the Local Government Project, Annette was admitted as an attorney of the Cape High Court.  She also served as a researcher in the Socio-Economic Rights Project at CLC and as a part-time lecturer of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law.
