Library
The Documentation Centre [Library] houses a specialist collection of published and unpublished materials in the field of international law, women's rights, children's rights, civil and political rights and economic and social rights.
These include books, journals, United Nations materials, comparative case law and legislation, research reports, conference papers and NGO newsletters focusing on the varied subject of human rights.
The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 09h00-16h30. If you would like to visit the Library, it is advisable to make arrangements beforehand.
Facilities available
- Users may browse for information on a user friendly computerised system or on the shelves.
- Users may photocopy material, at a nominal charge.
- Telephonic, fax, and e-mail search requests are also accepted.
- You can find the Library on the ground floor of the Community Law Centre at the University of the Western Cape.
